In addition to offering MS and PhD in Biostatistics, and Masters and Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science, the Department is also active in teaching biostatistics-related courses for other Schools and Departments at GRU. The Department faculty members are actively involved in mentoring graduate students, residents, fellows and junior faculty on campus. Mentoring activities include:
Serving as co-mentors for students in the Masters and Certificate programs in Clinical and Translational Science
Serving in the Masters and Doctoral committees for students in other programs
Participating in career development programs such as K awards and other intramural and extramural mechanisms for fellows and junior faculty
Helping them with biostatistical support on their projects
Participating in journal clubs and other research forums
Offering seminars and tutorials to small groups on request
